		<description>Im from the UK and we always use the format dd/mm/yy and we have never had any confusions or misunderstandings.  All other countries within the European Union also have the same.  With credit cards we always have mm/yy format.</description>

		<description>&lt;p&gt;I always write the date in full Y-M-D format on papers and forms, etc.  People never have trouble understanding it if you put the year first, as opposed to the M-D-Y vs. D-M-Y confusion between Americans and Europeans.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
