I am sure I am missing a lot of events, but some of these are only publicized in specific channels, and I wanted to mention them here to help spread the word.

Upcoming Meetups

This coming Thursday, Charlottesville’s Neon Guild tech group will co-host a Meetup with a noted Kanban expert.

I’m joining two Meetups soon to talk about building database (MySQL) applications with the Go programming language:

  1. The ‘Quantifying Abnormal Behavior’ talks looks quite
interesting. I presume some of the are being applied in
vividcortex as well? Apart from the statistics, is machine
learning being also looked at in this context? (it is being used for
prediction for sure but not in streaming context like the one
    required for system trends).

  2. I haven’t used machine learning in many years.
